Page 7, Column 4Mrs. William Clanton died Wednesday after an illness of only a few days. The funeral services were held in the Christian church this afternoon and the remains will be laid to rest in the east cemetary. The deceased leaves a husband, four sons, and two daughters to mourn her loss.
It is always a mother’s wish that she should see her children come into womanhood and manhood before she has to depart her life. This the lady has done, and as she lays down this earth’s care to take up her eternal abade we can say it is but the finish of a well spent life and has received those welcome words of well done my good and faithful servant. To the berieved family in this their hour of appliction we tender our heartfelt sympathy. No one is so dear to a family as mother and wife. Mother is gone, but her life on earth has been completed as a mother would wish.
