Leo Caskey, son of W. G. and Meda Caskey, passed away Feb. 23, 1968 at the Corning hospital, after a brief illness. Leo was born March 29, 1892 in Madison Co., Iowa, but has lived most of his life in Adams Co. near Lenox. He was married to Dora Stoaks Jan. 29, 1913. To this union one little daughter was born, who passed away at birth. He was baptized Oct. 13, 1906 and all through his life he has been a devoted church worker.
He is survived by his loving wife Dora, and three brothers, Nevin in Montana, Homer in Council Bluffs and Judson at Bedford, and a large number of relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Mr. Leo Caskey were held Sunday, Feb. 25, 2:00 p. m. from the Lenox Christian Church. The officiating minister was Rev. David S. Shaeffer. Mrs. Dorothy Caskey of Omaha was soloist with Mrs. Ruth Boltinghouse as accompanist on the organ.
Bearers were: Lew Eckels, Robert Morris, Clifford Preston, Wayne McFee, Kenneth McFee, Joe Maynes Jr. Interment was in south Fairview Cemetery.
