Page 3, Column 2Elmer Foreman Dies at Home
Elmer D. Foreman, 64, of 922 Army Post road, died Friday at his home after an illness of five years. Cause of death was arteriosclerosis.
A native of Madison county, Mr. Foreman had lived here 31 years and was a retired street car operator. He was a member of Fort Des Moines Presbyterian church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ethel Foreman; four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Savage, Mrs. Helen Joss and Mrs. Frances Thompson all of Des Moines and Mrs. Faye Willis of Centerville; three sons, Ernest, Donald and Claude Foreman all of Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Victoria Devine and Mrs. Maggie McCall of Des Moines and Mrs. Mary Sullins of Tulsa, Okla.
Also, three brothers, Pearl, of Perry, Okla., Henry of Worland, Wyo., and Frank, of Winterset; 20 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be at 3 p. m. Monday at Joseph Lilly’s funeral home, with burial in Glendale cemetery.
