Services for Edward H. Devine, 76, of 3407 Fifty-second st., who died Friday at the Link Nursing Home, 4401 S. W. Ninth st., will be at 1:30 p. m. Monday at the Evan Lilly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Devine born in Marshalltown, lived 70 years in Des Moines. He was a truck operator for the city of Des Moines from 1915 to 1949, when he retired.
Surviving are four sons, Earl of Indianola and Glenn, Wayne and William, all of Des Moines; three daughters, Mrs. Mae Garvin, Mrs. Louise Monroe and Mrs. Delores Lambert, all of Des Moines; five brothers, John of Truro, Orlie of Ontario, Cal., Aubrey and Floyd of Des Moines, and Glenn of Iowa City; two sisters, Mrs. Diza Wilburg of San Antonio, Tex., and Mrs. Ila Moore of Des Moines; 21 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
