Clarence Homer, son of Lillia Belle Lowe and James Russell Peters, was born in Winterset, Iowa July 5, 1906 and passed away July 13, 1977 at the Craft Care Center in Panora, Iowa.

At an early age he and his parents moved to the family home in Jefferson township and attended the rural school and assisted his father in farming. He became a member of the Jefferson Center Methodist church and later transferred his membership to the Menlo Methodist Church.
