Services for William R. Shutt, 75, of 632 Twelfth st., West Des Moines, who died of a heart attack Thursday at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the McLaren Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Shutt had been ill 18 months.
A retired farmer and carpenter, he was born in Warren County. He came to West Des Moines 22 years ago from St. Mary’s, and was a member of Christian Union Church at Milo.
Surviving are his widow Hessie; three sons, Hirsel of St. Marys and Lyle and Clifford, both of West Des Moines; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Reams and Mrs. Twila Hickey, both of West Des Moines; a brother Walter of Martensdale, and three sisters, Mrs. May Myers of Truro, Mrs. Louise Miller of St. Charles and Mrs. Lila Megery of Fresno, Cal.
