Page 9, Columns 3 & 4Mary Wall, daughter of Lafe and Ethel Alexander Diser, was born December 3, 1936, in Madison County and reared in the Clemons area. She passed away January 17, 1979 following a lengthy illness.
She graduated from Clemons High School in 1954 and was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Des Moines.
On June 10, 1956, she was united in marriage to Dean Wall at Clemons and they lived in Denver, Colorado, before moving to Liscomb, Iowa 10 years ago.
She was a member of the Bethel Grove Church and active in its women’s societies.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mary Elizabeth at home, her parents, now at Liscomb, a brother, Elwain Diser, Lisomb, and three sisters, Rose Marie (Mrs. Stanley) Davis of Marshalltown, Elsie (Mrs. Allen) Davis of Albion, and Carolyn (Mrs. Bruce) Pitt of Knoxville. One brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were conducted January 19 at the Bethel Grove Church at Liscomb, Iowa, with the Rev. Charles Fry officiating. Burial was in Bethel Grove Cemetery.
