Thursday, January 24, 1907DEATH OF MRS. FRED STRONG
Mrs. Fred Armstrong passed away at the family home at Pacific Grove, California, on Tuesday, January 8th, after an illness of two weeks and the funeral services were held on the following Sunday. Particulars of her sickness are lacking other than that her death was due to heart trouble. The Strongs were for many years identified with the business and social life of Winterset and the news of Mrs. Strong's death will be heard with deep regret by my many Winterset people.
The surviving members of the family are Mr. Strong and Miss Virginia, of Pacific Grove, Ed of Minneapolis, and Albert, of Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Word has been received here announcing the death at Pacific Grove, Cal., on January 8th, of Mrs. Fred Strong, formerly of this place. Mrs. Strong was sick but a few days. Heart failure was the cause. They had made a visit to their son at Ft. Dodge, this state, and had returned to California but a short time before Mrs. Strong's death. The friends of the family here will be deeply grieved to learn of the death of this estimable lady.
