Agnes P. Tobin Weesner of Dexter, Iowa, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young, died of cancer at the Community Care Center, Stuart, Iowa on February 18, 1988, at the age of 87 years.

She was born November 14, 1900 at Winterset, Iowa and moved to Dexter with her parents where she graduated from Dexter High School.

Agnes was united in marriage to George Weesner on April 18, 1925. They resided on a farm in Madison County for many years before retiring to their home in Dexter. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dexter and the Iris Garden Club.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Survivors include two daughters, Beverly (Mrs. Paul) Anderson of Bettendorf, Iowa and Wanda (Mrs. John) Glasson of Sioux City, Iowa, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held February 20, 1988 at McKee Funeral Home, Dexter, Iowa with Reverend Robert Farr officiating. Pallbearers were Orville Grant, Ronnie Algreen, Ray Lenocker, Darrell Daggett, Richard Wells and Kenny Hayes. Interment was in Dexter Cemetery, Dexter, Iowa.

DEXTER—A funeral for Agnes P. Weesner, 87, of Dexter was held Feb. 20, 1988 at McKee Funeral Home here. Mrs. Weesner died of cancer at the Community Care Center at Stuart on Feb. 18. Burial was in the Dexter Cemetery.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Young, she was born at Winterset on Nov. 14, 1900. She moved to Dexter with her parents, and graduated from high school there. She married George Weesner on April 18, 1925, and they lived in Madison County for many years before retiring to their home in Dexter. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Dexter and the Iris Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Anderson of Bettendorf and Wanda Glasson of Sioux City, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
