Milton C. Phillips, recently of Winterset, succumbed to a heart attack Dec. 9 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Willis Robinson, in Kansas City, Mo.
He is survived by his daughter and son, Rex, and grandson; and two sisters, Mrs. Etna Smith of Winterset and Mrs. Amanda Ponxs of Cooper.

Milton C. Phillips, 61 years of age, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Willis Robinson at Kansas City, Mo., Friday, Dec. 9. Phillips who was born Oct. 25, 1877, made his home here in Winterset with his sister, Mrs. Charles Smith, for the past three years and went to Kansas City only a week before his death.
Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 12, in Kansas City, where burial was made. Those who survive are, his daughter, Mrs. Willis Robinson; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Smith of Winterset and Amanda Ponxs of Cooper, Ia., one nephew, Ralph Smith and family of Creston.
