A funeral mass will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 from St. Mary’s Church in Guthrie Center for Glen A. Halsey, 75, who died Monday morning at the Guthrie County Hospital.
The death was unexpected as Halsey had been in an improved condition following a heart problem last May.
He owned the Halsey Super Valu store in Guthrie Center for 20 years after serving as a field man for the Super Valu company. He sold the store approximately 14 years ago to the Reinhart Bros.
Survivors include a son David of Guthrie Center, a daughter, Mrs. Donna Feeley of Phoenix; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a brother Don of Newton, and two sisters, Beulah Sears of Creston and Carita Reis of California.
Burial will be in Ressurection cemetery.
