Funeral for Miles W. Dick, 71, of 1408 Parkway, who died Tuesday, October 12, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Prugh’s Chapel, Dr. David J. Seitz; Aspen Grove Cemetery. An American Lung Association memorial has been established.
He was born Nov. 26, 1910, near Winterset to Frank and Della Iams Dick. He married Edna Waters Oct. 20, 1933, at Bethany, Mo.
He had owned Furniture Mart, managed the local Montgomery Ward store and had been assistant manager at the former Cook’s Discount. He was a member of First Christian Church.
Surviving: The wife; two sons, Larry, Corpus Christi, Texas, and Gary, Burlington; daughter Janice Perlstein, Burlington; brother Earl, Winterset; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
