JOSEPH FOSTER

Joseph Foster, 66, of 1508 Esplanade Ave., Davenport, died Tuesday in his home.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hill & Fredericks Chapel, Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Mr. Foster retired from the Air Force in 1962. He then worked as a guard at the Iowa-Illinois Memorial Bridge until last December.

He was born in Peru, Iowa. He married Dorothy Rose in 1965 in Bettendorf.

Among the survivors are his wife; stepdaughters, Jean Schlotfeldt, Davenport, and Karen Rose and Connie Rose, both at home; one granddaughter; and brothers, Edward, Davenport, and Raymond, Gardena, Calif.
