David Mitchell, 57, of Winterset died Thursday, Aug 3, 2017, in Des Moines, Iowa at The Kavanagh House.
David will be cremated and a private family service will be held in his honor.
David Wayne Michell was born in Winterset to Donald and Marilyn Mitchell on June 4, 1960. He went to Winterset school and worked as a laborer most of his life. He enjoyed time with his family and friends with dog, Princess.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Leota Huston, his mother, Marilyn Cooper, and his father, Donald Mitchell.
He is survived by his sister, Carolyn O'Leary of Waukee, brother, Jerry Mitchell of Winterset; and his sister; Barb Welch of Winterset; and several other family members and friends.
