Tracy "Ozzy" Stills

Tracy Lee Stills (Ozzy), 50, of New Virginia, Iowa passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017, in Des Moines, Iowa after a courageous battle with cancer.

Tracy was born July 22, 1966 in Des Moines to Judith and Kenneth Stills. He grew up in Norwalk and New Virginia, Iowa where he graduated from I-35 High School, class of 1984. Tracy began his career at Sutherland Lumber before serving four years in the U.S. Navy on the ship USS Robinson, visiting countries as far away as Singapore, Australia and the Middle East. After his Naval service, he attended DMACC before beginning a twenty-seven year career at Lozier Heating and Cooling.

Tracy spent as much time as possible outdoors and was an avid hunter, angler and loved coyote hunting. He made many trips to Colorado for elk hunting with brothers Terry and Travis, as well as wild hog hunting trips to Texas with his cousin, Shawn Ballard.

Tracy is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Judith Stills, brothers Travis (Marla), Terry (Dawn), and nieces Hayden, Ava and Tiffany as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Memorial Contributions may be directed to New Virginia or St. Mary's Fire Departments or to the New Virginia American Legion for the New Virginia Veterans Memorial.
