WintersetDonna Wildin, 62, passed away May 20, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Des Moines on July 7, 1954.
Donna graduated from Saydel High School. She was passionate about the arts and spent many years performing in local theatrical events. Donna loved spending time with children, cooking, and giving back to the community. Most recently, she was working with the Iowa Department for the Blind.
Donna is survived by her husband, Leslie; children, Adam (Toni) Bast and Patty (Andrew) Law; grandchildren, Sophie Bast and Calvin Law; siblings, George Archer, Tony Ellis, John Ellis, Dean Archer, and Mari Sample; father, George H. Archer and stepmother, Jean. She was preceded in death by her brother, Don Ellis and her mother, Bertha, in 2002.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Iowa Donor Network in loving memory of Donna.
