Mr. C. S. Trobridge, of this city, formerly of Jackson township, died at his residence Wednesday morning. He was a man well along in years, but his exact age we do not know. He was a native of Vermont, but had lived many years in the west.

Resolutions

Prairie View Grange, No. 480, has again been visited by the hand of Divine Providence, which removed from our midst our worthy friend and brother, C. S. Trowbridge, who, being feeble for some months departed this life Jan. 20, 1892, aged 72 years, 11 months and 6 days, leaving an aged wife to morn his loss.

Resolved, That in the death of Brother Trowbridge our order has lost a character member, the community a respected citizen, and the wife a loving husband; and we submit to the way of our Heavenly Father who doeth all things well.

Resolved, That in memory of the departed, that these resolutions be spread upon the minutes, a copy be presented to the family, and a copy furnished to Grange News and Visitor, and each of the county papers for publication.
