Eugene Corsbie of Truro Dies

Eugene T. Corsbie died Friday, November 17 at his home in Truro at the age of 57 years. Death followed a heart attack.

A native of St. Charles, Mr. Corsbie lived in Des Moines before moving to Truro nine years ago.

An employee of Caldwell and Hartung, Inc., he was a member of the Beaverdale V.F.W. post, the Teamsters Union and the Register and Tribune Twenty-Year Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lydia; a son, Dan Corsbie of Urbandale; and two sisters, Mrs. Sam Picken of Peru and Mrs. Edith Wilson of Urbandale. He also leaves two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Westover Funeral home in Des Moines with burial at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
