Mrs. Earl Gentry

Ona May Busch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Busch, was born in Madison county, May 16, 1891 and died at her home in Winterset January 29, 1916, aged 24 years, 7 months 13 days.

On May 31, 1912 she was married to James earl Gentry. One child was born to this union which passed away just a few hours before the mother.

She was united with the United Presbyterian church of Winterset when about sixteen years of age. She was of a most beautiful character, cheerful, patient in suffering, helpful, always ready to help others in sickness or trouble. She will be missed mostly by her invalid mother who was always so loving and helpful in her care.

She leaves to mourn her death, the husband, father and mother, two brothers, Stephen, of Rockwell City, and Lawrence, of Winterset, four sisters, Mrs. Edith Arahood, of Des Moines, Minnie and Anna at home and Mrs. Blanche Lippy, Winterset, and a host of friends.

Funeral services was held at the home January 31, conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis. Interment was at Hooten cemetery.

Ona Bush Gentry, wife of Earl Gentry, was born in this county, May 1891 and died at her home in Winterset on Saturday, Jan. 29th. Her little babe, one day old, was laid beside her in the Hooten cemetery on Monday after brief funeral services from the home. She was married to Earl Gentry four years ago, and besides her husband, is survived by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Bush, four sisters and two brothers.
