Page 1BRYCE STUART IS DEAD OF APOPLEXY
Bryce J. Stuart, 68, died suddenly at his home west of St. Charles Friday of apoplexy. He had come into the house with some chips, picked up for kindling, when he fell to the floor. His brother, John Stuart, went to a neighbor’s to call a physician and returning found his brother was dead.
The two men had been living together since the death of their mother about 12 years ago. Mr. Stuart moved to the St. Charles neighborhood about 40 years ago. He leaves three other brothers, Charles and Elmer Stuart of New Virginia; William Stuart of Winterset; a sister in Des Moines, and a sister in Missouri.
Funeral services were held at the Elm Grove church Sunday morning conducted by the Rev. N. D. Gordon of Indianola; burial was in the King cemetery.
