Clarence W. Booth, a native of the Patterson community and a former resident of Winterset, died Thursday, September 28 at Mercy Hospital in Ft. Dodge. He was 66 years of age.

Mr. Booth was a son of Charles and Elvina McClain Booth. He was born at Patterson on September 28, 1906.

He had retired in 1863 after working 26 years as a welder for Costs Manufacturing Company.

Nearest surviving relative is a sister, Mrs. Hubert Woolery of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday from the Collins Funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Lori Reising of Winterset. Burial was made in the McGinnis cemetery at Patterson.
