Mr. and Mrs. Bob Johnson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota spent Monday night here at the Marvin Armstrong home. They were called here by the death of his brother, Mr. Roland Johnson of Des Moines. They attended the funeral on Tuesday in Des Moines at the Westover Funeral Home and burial was here in the Young cemetery.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Youngs Cemetery in Truro, for Roland M. Johnson, 49, of 2731 Sixty-fourth St.

Mr. Johnson was dead on arrival Saturday at Northwest Community Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack.

He was born in New Virginia and, before moving to Des Moines in 1955. had lived in Altoona and Osceola. He attended Drake University, was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church and was branch manager for John Day Co.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis C; a son, Dana, at home; his mother, Mrs. Veda Johnson of Osceola; four brothers, Doyle D. of Winona, Miss., Robert D. of Sioux Falls, S.D., Herbert L. of Lucas, and Kenneth E. of Des Moines, and a sister, Mrs. Edith E. Mease of Truro.
