George W. Haynes, who has been ailing for a long time, died at his home west of Hanley, last Thursday, Feb. 3. He was 87 years old. Nine children, four boys and five girls are still living.

Funeral services were held at Blair Chapel church last Saturday and his remains were laid to rest in the Blair Chapel cemetery.
