Page 6Eliza Jane Fee, daughter of William and Hanna Fee, was born Jan. 3rd, 1844, in Hamilton county, Indiana, and passed away June 13th, 1926, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Jacob Myers of Winterset, where she had made her home for several years, at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 10 days.
She came to Iowa with her parents in 1852 and was married to Albert Barnett October 3rd, 1867. To this union was born one daughter, Ella, who with her father, passed away several years ago. She united with the Church of Christ in 1890 and has been a faithful Christian ever since.
She leaves to mourn her death, three sisters, Mrs. Lucinda Barnett of Arkansas City, Kansas, Mrs. Belle Clark of Des Moines, and Mrs. Jacob Myer of Winterset, and two stepsons, Anderson Barnett of Earlham, and William Barnett of Norco, California.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ by Rev. F. Clare McCallon Tuesday afternoon at 1 o’clock, and interment made in the Earlham cemetery.
