California Rites For Fern Agnes
Graveside services were held for Mrs. Fern (Picken) Agnes on Tuesday, July 10, in Dinuba, Calif. Mrs. Agnes died on July 6 at a Visalia, Calif. Hospital at the age of 73.
The daughter of James and Mary Huglin Luke, she was born in Warren County. She lived in Winterset several years before moving to California.
Survivors include three sons, Jim Agnes of Cannon A.F. B., N.M., Donald Picken of Denver, Colo. and Jerry Picken of Dinuba, Calif.; three daughters, Darlene Voyles of Dinuba, Calif., Sherry Frazier of Redding, Calif. and Ester Archer of Diboll, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Binder of Winterset and Mrs. Virgil Wickett of New Virginia, two brothers, Rex Luke of Winterset and Neal Luke of Lowell, Ore., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
