Miss Nannie Burns, a niece of S. A. Silliman’s, died Tuesday morning of quick consumption. She had not been as well as common for a few days, yet her case was not considered one of immediate cause for alarm, and the family with whom she made her home were not expecting so sudden a taking off. She was about 18 years of age and was unfortunate in being a cripple. She had a pleasant home and was faithfully cared for, although her happiness in this life was marred by her physical being, she is now at rest. Her body was buried in Peru cemetery Thursday.---East Peru Mail.
