FIRST BABY OF 1965 LIVES BUT FOUR DAYS

John Eugene McCauley, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence E. McCauley of Winterset, died Sunday, Jan. 10, at a Des Moines hospital. The child was born Jan. 6 at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset, the first baby of 1965 born at the hospital, but lived only four days.

In addition to his parents, the infant is survived by its grandparents, Mrs. Dorothy McCauley and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Gray, all of Winterset.

Funeral services were held this Tuesday from the Wilson funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. William E. Bowles, pastor of the First Christian church here. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
