Mrs. Mary Truitt, widow of the late Jesse Truitt and a long time resident of Winterset died last Friday at the age of 76, after a long extended illness.

Funeral services were conducted at the home and burial in the Winterset cemetery on Sunday afternoon.

Two daughters, Mrs. Savannah Polk, and Mrs. Emma Sheckells of this city are the surviving members of the family.
