Mrs. Arthur Nicoson went to Saint Charles Friday to see Grandma Allen, who was very low and passed away Friday night at 10 o’clock.

Aunt Sarah Allen, after a long and painful illness, succumbed to the inevitable and passed away Friday night. Thus in her death the community looses another of her good and kind citizens, a true friend, and ideal christian, who was ever found going about doing good. She fought a good fight, and she has finished her course and has been called to her reward and to a meeting with loved ones gone before who have been waiting with outstretched hands to welcome her.

A large concourse of friends and relatives attended the funeral of Mrs. Sarah Allen, which was conducted at the Church of Christ Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
