Norwalk, Ia.,--Dennis Shutt, 2-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Shutt of near here, was fatally scalded Saturday when, while playing, he climbed into a bucket of boiling water, which his mother had just place on the floor.

The funeral services for the small child of Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Shutt were held Monday afternoon in the Christian church, with Rev. Rector of Truro in charge. The child’s death was caused by it falling into a bucket of hot water while the mother was washing.
