Mrs. Ella Carter Hogue, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter A. Carter, died at her home in Denver, Colorado, Friday, February 21, 1936. Her body was brought to St. Charles Monday and funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon, and burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
Mrs. Hogue was about 43 years of age and has been an invalid for many years. They moved to Colorado for the benefit of her health.
She leaves her husband, two sons, and two daughters, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Carter, one brother Guy Carter, and one sister, Mrs. Earl Smith, all of St. Charles, and many relatives and friends.
