News of Interest from St. Charles

Mrs. Emma Downs passed away at her home here Thursday, Feb. 8th. Her health had not been good for some time. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Church of Christ with the Rev. Shepard in charge. Burial was made in the St. Charles cemetery.
