Page 1Fred Allen killed in Auto Accident
Relatives here received word Saturday evening that Fred Allen had been killed in an auto accident at Craig, Colorado, but no particulars were received.
Forest Allen left immediately for that place. He will arrive in New Virginia today (Thursday) or early Friday morning and funeral services will be held at the M.E. church, some time Friday. Burial will be made in the Elm Grove cemetery.

Mrs. Lester Smith received a message Saturday telling of the death of her brother, Fred Allen of Colorado. He was killed in an automobile accident.

Owing to different arrangements Fred Allen’s funeral was held at Craig, Colorado Tuesday where he had been employed in a bank for the past two years and then brought to New Virginia where short services were held and interment made in the Sayre cemetery beside his parents.
