Died, on the 3d inst., Miss Cornelia Cahill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cahill, an old and respected settler of this locality, who lives in Lynn township, Warren county. The death was rather sudden and unexpected and caused heartfelt sorrow to all of her acquaintances.

The funeral took place on Monday, the 5th inst., and was the largest ever seen in this part of Iowa. The remains were laid to rest in St. Patrick’s cemetery in Lee township.
