Our Chip Basket

We greatly regret that we are obliged to report the death of Mr. Barr of Jackson, which occurred Saturday the 16th inst. We have not been able to learn the particulars further than that he was taken with acute pneumonia and died after a brief illness. Mr. Barr was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and a most excellent citizen and his death will be greatly mourned not only by his excellent family but by the congregation to which he belonged and a large circle of friends in the county.
