Death has again visited the neighborhood of Worthington and removed from time to eternity an aged saint of God, Mrs. Elizabeth Huffman, the mother of Mr. Isaac Huffman.

She was born April 17th, 1814, in Washington county, Pa., and married George Huffman in 1832. They removed from Pa. to Illinois in 1863 and to Missouri in 1865, where her husband died. In 1876 she came to Iowa, where she has resided for eleven years.

The last two years she has been declining in health, and the last two weeks previous to her departure, she suffered intensely, but amid the agonies of expiring nature she was wonderfully sustained by the grace of God and witnessed a good profession in the dying hour.

She was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church at the age of 15 years, and has been a steady, devoted follower of Christ for 59 years. She has gone to reap the reward of fidelity to Christ. The end was peace.
