Mr. George Wolverton, who moved into town in the early part of the summer, died at 10 o’clock Sunday evening, after an illness of a week. He was buried at Worthington on Tuesday afternoon.

Madison Markings

We regret the sad news of the death of our old friend George Wolverton, and can only say that Madison county has lost one of her pioneer settlers in Mr. Wolverton, and the democrat party lost a staunch member from its ranks. We join in sympathy with the bereaved family.
