ELMER LEASMAN DIES AT 74 YEARS

Elmer Leasman of St. Charles died July 3 at Memorial hospital in Winterset. He was 74 years of age, and had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Leasman was born Jan. 6, 1878, in Madison county, and spent all his life here. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leasman.

Surviving are two sisters, Jennie Leasman, and Mrs. Minnie Gear of near Barney; and two brothers, Ilot Leasman of Winterset and Jessie Leasman of near Barney.

Funeral services were held from the Watts Funeral home July 5, in charge of the Rev. Paul Shook. Burial was made in the Barney cemetery.
