MAMIE MURPHY DIES FOLLOWING OPERATION

Former Bevington Resident Had Been Living in Des Moines Recently

Bevington---(Special)—Mamie Murphy of Des Moines, former Bevington resident, died at Broadlawns hospital in Des Moines last Saturday, Jan. 29. She had been a patient there for one week and had undergone an operation.

Miss Murphy was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steve Murphy of Bevington, and had lived most of her life in this community.

Surviving are three brothers, John, Tom and Pete Murphy, all of Des Moines, and Dan Murphy of Norwalk.

Funeral services were to be held this Wednesday morning from St. Patrick’s Catholic church in Lee township, and burial made in the cemetery there.
