Elijah Hayden Dies at Age of 79

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Peru church for Elijah Hayden who died at this home Friday morning at the age of 79. He had been in poor health the past year, but was only seriously ill a few days.

Those who survive are three sons, Walter, Dennis and Ted Hayden and one daughter, Mrs. Rose Kirsch all of Peru. His wife, one daughter May Barker and one son preceded him in death.

Mr. Hayden was a member of the Christian church. Burial was made in the Peru Cemetery.
