MRS. GEORGE MILLER DIES

Mrs. George Miller, former Madison county resident, died at a hospital in Greeley, Kan., last Thursday, Sept. 4th after an illness of a few weeks. Mrs. Miller had been in the hospital for treatment and had been released, but had returned for a major operation which was performed ten days ago

The deceased, the former Ellen Nolan, who was 49 years of age, was a daughter of Joe and Mary Monaghan Nolan. She was born in Madison county, but moved with her parents to Kansas a number of years ago.

She is survived by her husband and their four children, and a niece, Patricia Nolan, whom she raised after the death of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Nolan. She also leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Nolan of Westphalia, Kan., and one sister and six brothers, all of whom reside in Kansas or Oklahoma.
