FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN OREGON

Mrs. Arthur Goffries, a former resident of Winterset, died Dec. 13 at Salem, Ore., it was learned here this week. She succumbed to a heart attack.

Mrs. Goffries was the former Myrtle Reed of Winterset. As a young woman here she clerked in the old H. N. Shaw dry goods store, and later she operated the Boston store here.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, a daughter, and one grandson.
