Earlham Items of News Interest

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Marks and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Eisele went to Council Bluffs Monday to attend the funeral of I. L. Hawley of Omaha, Neb., which were held with the Christian Science Reader in charge. Masonic burial services were held at the grave.

Mr. Hawley was 82 years old at the time of his death, which resulted Friday morning at the hospital in Council Bluffs from injuries received Thursday morning when his car and a Burlington bus collided near Oakland.

He is survived by his wife, Ada. Mr. Hawley lived in Earlham many years ago, where he operated a music store.
