Peru News

Word was received here of the death of Mrs. Bert Sawhill of Des Moines. She was the former Ruth Foster, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Foster, former residents here for a number of years.

The funeral was held at the Church of the Open Bible in Des Moines on Saturday and burial with graveside service in the Peru Cemetery.
