Page 1, Column 1Death of Former Resident.
Mrs. C. M. Plummer, formerly a resident of Winterset, died at her home last Thursday at Owatonna, Minn., as a result of a paralytic stroke of a few weeks ago. Her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Bruns, of this city, hastened to her bedside at that time and was with her when she passed away.
Mrs. Plummer lived in Winterset but a short time, but during her brief residence made many friends who are deeply grieved at her passing. A brother of Mrs. Plummer living in the same community died on Tuesday and they were buried the same day. Neither knew of the other's sickness.
