Mrs. George Clover, Aurelia
Nellie Jane Brewster, daughter of Willis and Jennie Brewster was born on Feb. 14, 1876, at Earlham, Madison county, Iowa and died Sunday morning Dec. 1, 1929 at Aurelia, Iowa at the age of 53 years, 9 months and 27 days.
When three years of age she came with her parents in a covered wagon to Cherokee county to the old farm home six miles north of Aurelia.
On Aug. 26, 1896 she was united in marriage to George M. Clover. To this union five children were born, Cora Florence, Cornelius Brewster, Percy V., Willis B., and Dale Otis.
In 1890 Mrs. Clover went with her husband to Angus, Minn., where they resided until 1906. They then moved to South Dakota where they resided until 1924 when they returned to Aurelia where they have since resided.
Mrs. Clover was stricken early in the week with flu and was only sick six days. All that loving hands and skill could do was of no avail, and while a storm was raging outside, she slipped out into that land where storms never break and death never enters.
Mrs. Clover is survived by her husband, George Clover of Aurelia, five children; Cora, Willis and Dale of Aurelia, Cornelius of Biloxi, Miss., and Percy of LeMars, Ia., one grandchild Ruth Williams of Aurelia, one brother Irving Brewster of Aurelia, one sister, Mrs. Emma Anderson of Page, N. D., one sister Frances preceded her in death in 1895.
Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday at 2 o'clock by Rev. J. F. Moore. Interment was in Aurelia cemetery.
