The funeral services of Samuel Jessup were held at the Wells church Wednesday afternoon and interment in the Macksburg cemetery.

Samuel Jessup died at his home west of town Monday afternoon. He had been ill only a few days, being taken with a cold which developed into pneumonia.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon from Wells Congregational cchurch. Interment being made in the Macksburg cemetery.
Mr. Jessup had lived all his life in this vicinity and commanded the honor and respect of all his associates.
