Services for John P. Schoenenberger, 58 of 1411 64th Street, will be at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church, of which he was a member.
Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Schoenenberger died of leukemia Sunday at Mercy Hospital, after a 3 year illness.
Mr. Schoenenberger served his country during World War 2 from Oct. 1942 until March 1946, in Company C, 316th Engineers.
He was a retired rubber manufacturing company employee at Armstrong Tire & Rubber.
He was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was married to Myra Mae McBride on August 26, 1951 in Nevada, Iowa
Survivors include his wife, Myra, a son, Terry & a daughter, Cindy, both at home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John Guy Schoenenberger & Hazel (Wheeler) Schoenenberger.
The body is at Westover Funeral Home.
