Pitzer: On Saturday evening. December 17th, about 5 p.m. at his home north of Pitzer occurred the death of William Moore, after nearly 2 years of suffering from a stroke of paralysis.

The deceased leaves besides a wife, four sons and Mrs. Jno. Aitchison a foster daughter, who was reared in this home. His sons are Ira Moore of Cedar Rapids, Prof. Henry Moore of Albia, and Asa and Rush Moore living on farms in this vicinity. The funeral was held last Monday from the Pitzer U. P. church. (burial was at Eppard Cemetery)

Local Tips

Wm. Moore died at his home in Jackson township last Sunday and was buried Monday. Mr. Moore has been a great sufferer for the past two years from a stroke of paralysis. He was a well known and respected citizen and his family have the sympathy of the entire community.
