ROBERT G. (BOB) LEE, Resided in St. Charles, Ia

MaY 29, 1928 - August 17, 2015

Robert G. Lee, 87, passed away August 17, 2015 at Bickford, West Des Moines. Visitation will be from 5-6:30 pm, Wednesday, August 19 followed by Masonic Service at 6:30pm at Iles Westover Chapel. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Robert was born May 29, 1928 in Grand River, Iowa the son of Elmer and Linda Lee. He worked for Williams Pipeline Company for 43 years. Robert was a member of the Avon Community Church. He was a Scoutmaster for Troop 133, Carlisle. He served as a Past Master of Eastgate Masonic Lodge in 1983 and Past Patron for Eastgate Eastern Star, numerous times, now a member of Des Moines Chapter. He was an avid rider of Gold Wings.

Robert is survived by his wife of 42 years, Velva; two sons, Terry (Pat) Lee and Bret (JoEllen) Lee; step son, David (Shannon) Hols; numerous grandchildren and their families; sister, Mildred Joy. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Donna; step daughter, Janet Grabner; siblings, Kenneth, Vera and Lena.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the staff at Bickford for their care and support. Memorial contributions may be directed to Animal Rescue League or Furry Friends.
